Len Hardy and the Ho family were close friends during his 1946 - 1947 tour of duty. Len returned for a reunion in 2001 and met with Don and Doris.

Recently Ted Urquhart and his wife Dolores got as close to Haiku Valley as the Honolulu Airport where they met with Professor John Flanigan with whom they frequently communicate.
